After a solid experience and strong skills in the industry of special automatisms for thermoplastics, the Baracco family founds Filtec. Among the most important services: assistance and excellent spare parts for AST products, as well as the design and implementation of their own mechanical solutions.
Filtec launches the first Horizontal Axis Granulator Water Ring Pelletizing System Model GRO500 on the market – a machine created to respond to a specific request: manufacturing homogeneous and quality granules whilst guaranteeing an approximate hourly flow rate of 500 kg / h.
The first UnderWater machine prototype goes into production, with an hourly capacity of 200 kg / h. Used to carry out laboratory tests, this prototype will later be launched onto the market during a special dedicated open house event.
Listening – one of Filtec’s main values ¬¬ – makes the company perceive a great demand from many business operators: being able to ‘touch’ our machines. Wish fulfilled: Filtec provides a laboratory so that simulations, tests and experimental checks on materials can be carried out.
